The Visual Science Research Group (VSRG) at the University of California, Davis covers a broad range of scientific endeavors, ranging from structural and molecular biology to human perception and computational theory, and encompasses the patient-based research at the UC Davis Medical Center and at the School of Veterinary Medicine. The visual science training program provides unique opportunities in basic vision science training and in translational research with clinical vision scientists. UC Davis has both an NEI funded core grant and training grant. VSRG include faculty from the following departments:
