Sarah is examining the structure of the retina in detail using a number of live imaging techniques. She is also investigating the retina's connection to the brain through the optic nerve cord and the centrifugal visual system. Read more about Sarah.
Sal is the only staff research associate in the Wilson lab. He has recently studied the effects of lipids on calcium elevation in the ER of cultured neurons. Currently, he is attempting to discover drugs that affect spontaneous calcium releases called "blips." Read more about Sal Borges.

Ajith completed several pharmacological studies on cultured neurons to clarify the sources and effects of calcium ions involved in synaptic signaling. Read more about Ajith
